Living room/dining room reno

When we first got our house we decided to start working on the living room and dining room. Here is what the dining room looked like when we got the keys to the house. 

We started by ripping out the carpets and putting in maple hardwoods. We scraped the popcorn off the ceiling which was a horrible and messy job but totally worth it in the end. We also replaced the baseboards with much higher ones and painted them white. Here is the end result....
