Ok, I have a lot of random things to write about today but not a whole lot of time so I"ll just fill you in on somethings and then try to blog a bit more later. So here is a random list of things going on:

1. I'm taking a doula course. Thought it might be something to do part-time. I"m mostly interested in post-natal care and I'd love to work with teen moms. Not sure where I'm going with it after this course but we'll see.

2. Our floors have been delivered so work will finally be started on the house. First we will scrape the popcorn ceiling, then patch and paint, then install the floors and baseboards. Lots of work but exciting!

3. Yesterday afternoon I did a load of laundry and I was pretty busy so I didn't get to putting it in the dryer till about 9:30 pm. When I went down there I heard water running and saw that the washing machine had been pouring out water since I put in my load at 4ish. There was water everywhere in the laundry room!! We had been using the room for most of our storage right now but luckily most containers were all plastic and nothing really got damaged. Now I'll have to find a new washer and we will have an adjuster take a look at the basement. "sigh"

4. Gavin is getting his eye teeth and it's really hard on him and me.

5. I'm growing a vegetable garden and it's looking really good. I can't believe I actually enjoy taking care of it and watching it grow! I'm growing 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of tomatoes, 2 types of beans, basil and cucumbers. I"ll take pics later.

6. We are flying to Ontario next week for 5 days. It's my mom's 50th birthday so we are all going to celebrate that at a camp ground.

7. The water drinking thing lasted about 4 days. I did start peeing less but it just wasn't very fun to do and I felt so sloshy all the time. I'm now just trying to make sure I drink more than I have in the past and I'm drinking water and milk mostly and no pop or sugar juices.

8. Gavin got his EEG results back and they came back a little better but there is still an abnormality there and he is still at a high risk for having another seizure. I was pretty disappointed (obviously) but I'm just focusing on the fact that he is healthy, happy, and hasn't had any more since the first one.

9. I thought I could make it to 10 but I have to take off now so I'll continue this later.
